Animal control

I just went for a walk tonight. When I rounded the corner of the block I could tell there was distress in the air. There were birds flying franticly about. A cat was stalking the ground beneath the helpless bird. As I walked over the feline shied away into the darkness. I surveyed the ground and sure enough there was a little baby bird sitting motionless in the grass. I wasnt sure what to do! Do I pick it up.. Cover it with a box... Or just walk away. Well. I didn't want bird flu! I had no box and walking away would and in certain death for the little guy. So.. No one was around.. I removed my shirt in an attempt to pick it up and move it to a safe place. There was a tree close by with a perch high enough to be "safe" from ground danger. This infant was frightened and the mother was equally terrified as it squalked and assured me of her proximity! My heart was racing. I picked it up as it shrieked in horror... Which only heightened the alarm of the mother. I placed it in a safe place in the near by tree. In fear, the bird fluttered down from safety trying to escape me and I just trying to help. I felt a great sense of need and helplessness all in the same emotional swirl. I made several attempts to return this frightened creature to safety. Finally, exhausted the little guy... Or gal stayed. I followed the shadows where the danger was and did my best intimidating cat noise. (no physical harm was done to the predator). As I walked away My heart sank realizing there wasn't much more that I could do... there are tons of life applications to this evenings events. If God's in control why is it so hard to trust sometimes. I guess the purpose to this story is.... SometimeS not knowing the outcome can't affect our decisions and trust that God is good and faithful in our every moment. He is there in great joy and great sorrow. Just something to think about....

iPad 2

I finally gave in and got the new iPad! It's great! It would be even better if I could use the Facetime app! I'm up late as usual! I rarely get stressed out... Im feeling it at the moment! Im finding myself in the middle of psssoion week, so busy in the hustle and bustle of life! Sometime we need a time out and just remember today has enough of it's own challenges.
I learned one thing in seminary.. "be where you are". Gods grace is sufficient for today. He holds tomorrow in His sovereign hands! So right now.. As I type on my "2" I'm remembering my God will always come through!

Im on a new reading kick if anyone has some good book suggestions!

I'll be posting some music soon.. (I'll do song requests too). :) Maybe even some videos..

Right now I'm the edge of a new frontier.  Life has kicked into gear these last couple of years.   I don't feel like life is passing me by but the thought "now or never" keeps coming to mind.  Over the next month or so I have a few huge projects I'm working on... just to put it out there...  Easter is a huge event in what i do :) ,  two cd projects, The Access service, High School Beach retreat and Jr High beach retreat.  Hold on to your horses!  Here goes everything!
